Working Principle
This quick release screw is fed by gravity (below hoppers, discharge stations, etc.) and can be inclined up to 30°.
The product is conveyed from the inlet to the pipe outlet by means of an Archimedes screw. This heavy duty screw (inner shaft) is driven by a direct coupled gear motor. In dosing applications, the gear motor can be connected to a frequency converter to regulate the speed for fine dosing.
The pitch has been specifically designed to regulate flow while avoiding product compression. Discharge capacity is up to 53 cubic meters per hour.
